The creators of the comedy show South Park display simply no remorse for all the celebrities they have ridiculed over the years. This season, however, it has been reported that Tom Cruise, Kanye West, and Oprah Winfrey will have their vengeance on Southpark in an approaching milestone episode!

In the episode, the town of Southpark is subjected to a class action lawsuit by a considerable list of celebreties lampooned during the animations 14-year history. It will be the satirical cartoon's 200th episode, unsurprisingly titled 200.

Whether these celebrities are actually going to sue the creators of South Park is yet to be seen, but it is extremely doubtful. That being said, with all the people they have insulted it is hard to picture any famous people that would not mind suing South Park for every cent.

However, there are two things which provide major obstacles to any person considering it. The first admendment of the U.S. constitution is the primary obstacle. Second, before every episode of South Park they show a disclaimer (pictured on the right).

A particulary famous episode entitled Trapped in the Closet featured a unforgettable plot line in which Tom Cruise refused to come out of a closet and the tenets of Scientology were outlined. In later episode, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas were controversially portrayed raping the character Indiana Jones - a reference to fans' disappointment with the fourth film in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Other celebs included in 200 will include Phil Collins, Hillary Clinton, baseball player Barry Bonds and Oscar winner Russell Crowe, who was memorably, shown exploring the world asd the host of the the show "Fighting Round the World".

It is easy to see why some people have a problem with South Park, however, what some construe as the simplest of humour is in truth very intelligent. The creators of the show do not single out race, religion or country because they will ridicule any race, religion or country, including themselves. Although the show often makes extreme jokes, each episode usually finishes with a moral moderate position being supported by the show's principal figures. There are very few American T.V. shows that use satire with as much experience and impact as Southpark, and thus it ought to be accepted by the UK, the worldwide capital of satire!
